Charles Lloyd on YouTube

One of my favorite Charles Lloyd songs is only available on YouTube. While there are older versions of "Sombrero Sam" available on record from when Charles Lloyd was flourishing in the late 1960's, one has to turn to YouTube for an extended and more contemporary version of the song. I am waiting for the day when Charles Lloyd releases on CD one of his concerts featuring this song.

That video I posted in 2013 is no longer available. It was known for its extended solo by John Abercrombie before Marc Johnson adds a strong baseline and before Charles Lloyd solos on flute.

I am adding a substitute for those of you who may want to hear Sombrero Sam.
